"Surprisingly Not a Copy-Paste Job"
I tried TopResume and, shockingly, the feedback didn’t feel like it was generated by a robot trapped in a career advice factory. They actually pointed out things that were specific to my work history, which made the whole thing feel way more personal than I expected.
It did take a little longer than I would’ve liked to get everything back, because apparently patience is a required skill too, but the end result was helpful. Overall, useful and more thoughtful than I expected. 4 stars from me.

To be fair, the resume update actually helped. I started getting interview requests quickly, which was a relief. I just wish I’d done it sooner instead of wasting time with my old one.

"Really glad I had my resume cleaned up"
I started getting more callbacks after they updated my resume, which was a relief. The funny thing is I noticed little stuff right away, like the spacing looked more even, the bullet points didn’t feel all over the place, and the wording just sounded cleaner without being fake. It still felt like me, just much more polished. Definitely happy with how it turned out

"Pretty easy experience overall"
I wasn’t totally sure what to expect with TopResume, but my experience ended up being good. Whenever I had a question, they usually got back to me quickly and explained things in a way that made sense. I never really felt like I was just waiting around with no idea what was going on. The communication was simple and helpful, which I appreciated.

"My resume finally escaped the ATS black hole"
I gave TopResume a shot because my resume kept disappearing into the online application void, which was super fun and not at all soul-crushing. I figured the whole ATS keyword thing was probably part of the problem, and yep, apparently my resume needed more than just hopes and formatting from 2016.
The writer cleaned it up, added better keywords, and made it easier to read without turning me into some fake corporate robot. After I started using the new version, I actually got more replies. Not a miracle overnight, obviously, because that would be too convenient, but enough that I noticed. Definitely worth it for me.

"Super fast turnaround, no waiting around"
Not gonna lie, I was surprised by how quickly TopResume got back to me. I figured I’d be waiting a few days, but everything moved way faster than I expected.
The first draft showed up right on time, and the small edits I asked for were handled quickly too. I didn’t have to chase anyone down or sit there wondering what was happening.
the speed was the best part for me. The whole process was simple, communication was solid, and I ended up with my resume ready earlier than I thought I would

"Refund policy was clear enough"
I used TopResume and made sure to look over the refund policy before placing my order, which I feel like is just common sense. It was easy to find and laid out clearly what’s covered and what isn’t. I wasn’t confused by it, though I do think it could be a little more flexible. Overall, it was a fair experience, and support got back to me fine. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Helpful resume update, but the add-ons felt a little pushy"
I started using it last week because my old resume really needed a refresh. After a couple of rounds of edits, the final version was definitely better than what I had before, and the suggestions were actually useful. The only thing that got a bit annoying was how often the extra upgrades and add-ons were shown during the process. By the time I was finishing up, it felt a little pushy. I ended up buying one add-on and skipping the rest. Overall, I’m happy with the resume, just wish the upselling had been toned down.

TopResume helped me spot issues in my resume that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own, and they cleaned it up in a way that just made more sense. After seeing the difference with mine, I can see how a lot of people probably don’t realize what’s holding their resume back until someone else looks at it. Job searching is still stressful, but I definitely felt more confident applying because my resume no longer felt like the weakest part

“I have been waiting for two months now and I still haven't received a completed document. I have already worked with three different writers and none of the documents they provided are usable. Honestly, my original resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile are much better than what I received from TopResume. If you are considering using this service, I strongly advise against it. “This is absolute rubbish. I spent $149 and received something that I could have easily done on my own. It's exactly what I anticipated. I insisted on a refund and was promised one, but we'll see if it actually happens. It's a complete waste of money.”

“I completely agree, Alex! This service is absolutely fraudulent! I've been given three different writers and every time, I've received a below-average result from someone whose first language is obviously not English. The most frustrating part is that I paid over $100 for a "LinkedIn Rewrite," only to have the writer simply copy and paste my resume into the LinkedIn boxes. It's unbelievable... Save your money and avoid this service!”

“I strongly advise against using their services. It appears that they hire writers from overseas, and based on my experience with three different writers, the resumes and cover letters they produced were of extremely low quality, filled with spelling and grammatical mistakes. On top of that, I paid over $100 for a LinkedIn rewrite, only to receive the exact same resume from TopResume simply pasted into a LinkedIn format. I'm confident that I could have done that myself and saved the $100. None of these documents are usable. I urge you to save your money and avoid signing up for their paid services, as it's a deceptive tactic.”

The layout they provided was absolutely awful, and to make matters worse, there were numerous typos throughout. It was clear that English was not their strong suit.
